C A S S T L opens its doors for the first time with Come and Play With Filip, Filip Collin’s first solo exhibition. This exhibition focuses on Puzzlebox.
“Puzzlebox consists of nine polychrome shapes and a silkscreened box. These pieces are drawn from shapes I encountered at the Botanical Garden in Antwerp. I called it Puzzlebox because it reminds me of one. Regardless of the name none of the pieces fit into each other. This work is about trying and discovering. There are no instructions, no name on the box or no game rules enclosed in order for the player to decide their own rules.” (F. Collin)
