Bagbazar is an exhibition by Ria Pacquée and Marie-Sophie Beinke and includes works made and conceptualized in Kathmandu, Nepal during their joint stay there from 20 March to 10 April 2023. The title refers to the bustling and noisy Bagbazar Street in Kathmandu, the street of all kinds of businesses, but especially the many sign shops, printing facilities and photo studios.

The Wanderer Paintings - Nel Aerts
Book signing and presentation of the limited edition. The Wanderer Paintings is the first monograph dedicated to Nel Aerts’ painting practice. This richly illustrated publication includes essays by Valerie Verhaack, curator of the artist’s current exhibition at M Leuven, and Dutch art critic and historian Dominic van den Boogerd, as well as shorter texts by her friends on paintings of their choice. Reference images contextualize Aerts’ work and a catalogue raisonné of her paintings from 2011 up to the present day closes the book. The limited edition of 25 unique slipcases are adorned with a wood burned selfportrait.

Karl Holmqvist - CASSTL & Pinki Bowtie
Karl Holmqvist is an artist living and working in Berlin. The main focus of his artistic practice is on language and includes writing in the form of artist’s books, in video animations and room size installations as well as in spoken word performances. His writing is mostly made up of quotations from a variety of sources rearranged in the form of a type of written collage that deals with repetition, double meaning and memory function. Recent one-person exhibitions include Centre d’Art Contemporaine, Geneva, Indipendenza, Rome (with Klara Liden), Kunstverein Braunschweig (with Klara Liden), Power Station, Dallas and Camden Arts Centre, London. He has participated in the Venice Biennial in 2003 and 2011, and Performa, New York in 2005, 2007 and 2013.
